The most common folds are – short
fold, letter fold, and z-fold. Please note that not all folds
might be available at your print shop. Contact your printer first.
*Panel sizes
are approximate. To allow the panels to nest inside each
other properly, the inside panels are usually 1/32" to 1/8"
narrower than the outer panels.

If you are going to print
your brochure by yourself, you can fold it by hand in any
way you like. For brochures distributed by mail you have to take
into account that folded brochure should fit in to standard size
envelope. But if you plan to hand out brochures or leave them on
the advertisement stand you can combine unusual folding with dye
cutting and get some eye-catching results.
